The attention that social networking is gaining among all Internet users is overwhelming. It is unclear how and when marketing tactics will catch up. Millions and millions and millions of people access various social sites like facebook, linkedin, and twitter, not to mention older sites such as youtube, myspace, and technorati. Monitizing all this traffic is proving to be illusive. Nevertheless, any Internet marketing concept that does not take social networking into account is probably doomed almost from the start. We don't claim to have a magical promotion that will dominate social networking, but it has our un-relenting attention.

Which brings up another point: For success in marketing a product or service on the Internet, un-relenting attention is also required to an ever-increasing number of technologies and user preferences. It feels like those are growing at a pace equal to, or greater than the frenetic pace at which new sites and new networking concepts are adopted by Internet users. Then there are all the services and vendors with new ways to compete by leveraging all this new stuff. Many of these service providers have absolutely great ideas, and many of those ideas quickly become indispensable to maintaining a competitive edge with your promotions. Everybody is looking for that edge, and with everything going on it's what the Wild, Wild West must have been like.
